    Nissan Skyline GT-R unveiled

What are your thoughts on this? I'm still partial about the looks, but perhaps it's that kind of look that will grow on you.

    Re: Nissan Skyline GT-R unveiled

i found the look disappointing after the front covers in the spy shots were removed

however, i do suspect that the car will have LOTS of presence when viewed in person. If u view the pics at the goodwood fest of speed and various other spy shots, the car is huge. So i suspect it will look much better in metal. Ive also seen the GTR proto at the 05 tokyo motorshow and i thought it looked great.

In any case, i think nissan has done it again. Performance figures look crazy and it looks cheap even at that price. Yes its not a sexy as a lambo, the badge sucks, interior is fine only, the car is very heavy but thats not what a GTR is about and you are not paying lambo money either.

I think i like it, but im sticking to my r8

My first impression when I saw the first pics were very similar to yours. As you said, this car will probably look much better in person, and it's probably one of those cars that kind of grows on you. The numbers on this car are definitley staggering. I truely think you're going to get the best bang for your buck with this car.

Nope. Still looks like a Mustang that has had one too many design "updates".

I just cant decide on it. I know it will be hugely fast(didnt it beat the (911 Turbo around the ring?) but it just looks like it came straight out of 'Max Power'
    And its a Nissan...

I'd have to admit that the car looks a lot better in person,..a lot bigger too. I also have a problem with it being a Nissan. The service at these Nissan, Toyota, Honda dealers are always lacking. But it's soooooooooo attractive as a track car.

Nissan wants over 100k for this badboy. I'd rather get a new M3 for cheaper, R8 or 911 turbo for a little more
