I thought the R8 would be your daily car? It will be mine. And I'll take my wifes car (MK5 Golf GTI) when I need to transport more people or other stuff.

In Zagreb were I live R8 simply said can not be daily car. I will use R8 as often as I can, but daily car? No way...
Traffic here is pretty heavy and honestly I can not imagine myself going to shooping mall with R8. Public parking garages here are also with very heavy traffic so, potential of someone hitting his door into my R8 is huge...

Not exactly on topic ... but when you have an expensive daily driver ... or any car that you cherish ... whenever you have to park it in a public place ... it is often a good idea to park it next to another expensive car ... people who own expensive cars tend to be more careful ... although I suspect that this is not always the case.

But, if you're looking for somewhere to park in your R8 ... put it in the space between the Bently and Aston Martin ... they're less likely to bang into your car than someone with a 15, or 20 year old car that is ... on it's last legs and just being used till it falls apart or stops working.
    Gone but not forgotten ...
VW Golf V6 4motion (does just what it says on the tin)
Vauxhall Lotus Carlton (a beast of a motorway cruiser)
Honda NSX, manual JDM (a beauty to drive anywhere)
Audi RS4, B7 saloon (awesome on any road - or track)

That is good advice up to a point, women drivers in expensive cars that the husbands pay to fix

Out of interest I wonder if their are any women buying an R8 ?????

It would be great to have some female contributions to the site

Indeed ... maybe it would be good to have some eastrogen here ... as opposed to all the testosterone that often flies round out of control ...
