A New U.S. 2010 Rally... are you ready?

Great references might help . Sounds like a cool ralley to me . You do have a good idea but is this more for fun or profit or recognition??

Why are we doing this?
This is Fun... every aspect we have encountered so far has been Fun, and just rescently we descided this has to be run as a business to be profitable, for future events.
Personally... don't think for one second we are greedy... we are from New Orleans, We know fun, food, and worst of all we know tragedy. We are looking for the right Charity. Also, looking to bring business to New Orleans, and contribute to other great cities.

We are all Car Enthusiasts, this is really more about passion.

Recognition is odd... Yes and No... I dont want it to effect the business negatively, and we need it to bring in clientel. Other then that... No, we don't want Fame!!

Once we have the Sporsors all in order... we will post them for reference. No need to jump the gun, just yet... remember this is about a year away from the actuall Start, and about 5-6 months before we collect any funds.

A couple things have come-up in our meetings... I would like your oppinions on also.

Graphics - We will provide out own Graphics card and designs for each vehicle... however we will not be doing full wraps or clear bras.

Out-side Sponsorships - If you are sponsored by a company, and wish to have their graphics on your vehicle... it must be apporved by "The Rally" so that conflict of interest is not an issue with Our Sponsors!!

Average Speed - OK this has always been a favorite of Rallies, and we are working to figure out a different method. Bascially if you arrive faster then the speed limit allows... you will be DNF on that leg for that challenge Only!!! However, we are slowing you down Time Wise with other challenges that will also be accounted for in your Travel Time!! Tricky tricky!!

Really that is it... I will be on Vacation next week and traveling to several of the locations... I also have several meetings with sponsors the week after. We have a huge Track day being planned, and I canleak that info to you in the comming weeks!!
