Not yet...
Just another Audi teaser IMHO.
Not quite as good looking as the original concept picture, need to see it in the flesh when I go to Geneva next month.
Mmmm ... nice ... regardless of the changes from the concept ... I quite like it ... maybe my garage line up might include an A5 in the not too distant future ... although I'll not be putting a deposit down just yet!
Gone but not forgotten ...
VW Golf V6 4motion (does just what it says on the tin)
Vauxhall Lotus Carlton (a beast of a motorway cruiser)
Honda NSX, manual JDM (a beauty to drive anywhere)
Audi RS4, B7 saloon (awesome on any road - or track)
Hmm... Seems I am the only one who is not impressed at all.
I simply think that design is not brave enough and back look to much a la BMW 3 series coupe(current one).
BTW, A5 is around 4,60m long and this is new A4 platform. Engines are 2.0T(177hp), 3.2FSI(255hp) and 3.0TDI(233hp). S5 will have 4.2L V8(353hp), but its performance are just on the BMW 335i level... A5 is pretty heavy as well...
Honestly, I expected much more!
It does seem Audi are making cars significantly heavier than people expect ... the R8 is a classic example at only being 90kg lighter than the RS4 ... these are Audi's UK weights for the R8 and RS4 ... I am aware cars in otehr countries will vary by different margins ... but with the A5 apparently being another heavy car ... it makes you wonder why a car maker reknowned for the use of Aluminium ... is making cars that appear to be heavier than they should, or at least, could be ...![]()

...unlike new Maser-amazing car IMHO!
