Some MUCH needed humor

With all the catastrophic happenings lately... Japan,Tales of woe, etc... here is a little story. I gave my buddies Grand-dad a ride home the other day. We talked cars a bit. I mentioned that I was restoring a '58 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud. He started... A fellow was in the RR dealer to choose a new car. The salesman stated that the car had the perfect braking system, AND with a back-up system at that. The buyer stated: why a back-up system if the FIRST system was perfect ?? "JUST IN CASE" ,stated the salesman.The buyer argued, WHY a second system, when it already has the best braking system ??? "JUST IN CASE" says the dealer. HRUMPHH says the buyer---that's rubbish. The salesman lifts his undershirt, shows his nipples and asks the buyer: why do us MEN have these nipples??? " JUST IN CASE !!!!!"

I would love to restore a Silver Cloud I seen one go for £15,000 needed a full rebuild.
Do you have any photos? how far have you got with the rebuild?

NOT a full rebuild. An original restoration to complete interior as possible to original red color upholstery.(trunk too, big and clean enough to sleep comfortably!) Have rebuilt the carbs. Should run much better. Will restart in a few weeks. Body /paint redone. Switched color scheme from black top/silver lower to Porsche 959 silver on top and a charcoal, mettallic lowers. This thing has leather covers on the leaf springs. Just too bad it is not a stretched limo version. Will post some pics soon. She was made in England and you can find a map I posted a while back in the owners manual. Sheffield dealership if memory is right.
