The Get Rich Schemes

Okay, i am sure almost all of us, here at one point were young teenagers, drooling at those beautiful exotics, Right? So im pretty sure we, when we were teenagers had our fair share, or dreams of making the cash to afford such beautiful cars. Here i'll start, since i am still a teenager:
1. at age of 17, start a business of some sort, probably web-based
2. by the age of 25, i'll be making 500k from the company
3. age of 34, ill be working as a type of doctor(i love anatomy!)

thats pretty much it, i think business might not happen until im probably in college but so what. The business growing that fast kinda sounds possible, considering how, some personal people's business i have known of, have grown at such an amazing pace.

Wish me good luck, so i'll be able to own an r8, or 458 italia when i am older!
So what are yours, or what were yours? and did you even achieve your goal by your scheme?

From what I hear the internet has made it possible for a savvy individual to "get-rich-quick".

The last time so many new opportunities existed was during the start of the industrial revolution. When I was growing up the industrial revolution was mature and there was really not much substitute for hard work (except for having existing family capital to invest!)

I suspect as online commerce matures, it will become more rare to hear of something-from-nothing wealth, as it will take greater levels of investment to compete effecitvely against the established companies.

Don't let that be a discouragement to you however! The internet is still relatively young and a great idea can still reap its reward. Good luck!

Thanks desperado, yeah i understand what you mean about starting businesses, and the "get rich quick" schemes. Yeah, from reading, i guess history repeats itself, hopefully i'll be able to use it to my advantage
