Absurd Censorship in This Forum

The computer that screens posts prevents words even found in the bible such as d.a.m.n. (only way I can get it past the censor program) and the word that means the place in a car or airplane where the pilot sits (I'll have to spell it phonetically): the kahk-pit. In the 21st century such prudishness is beyond belief!

Sure, it's funny to see someone with a helicopter hair-doo but I don't get what it has to do with censorship.
I did figure out how to post my funny GIF on our other thread - the one about windshield wipers - where there's a will, there's a way! It was the one I was stymied about posting because it contained the word d-a-m-n in the image code and inspired me to start this thread. I hope Desperado doesn't remove it!

This ridiculous discussion is about an inhuman forum hosting program that our internet forum hosts employ to keep emotional hot points from arising within normal forum discussions. It is a normal stupid program without any malicious intent toward anyone.

And most important, this has NOTHING to do with R8s. Please use the correct place in this forum to make good voice of your important cries about significant social injustices being perpetrated against you by insidious brain controlling social network conspiracies. .

Indeed, computers can't take a joke. It's either zeros or ones; serious business or plain business, no funny business. This is why a future with Skynet would be filled to the brim with melancholy, not that there would be humans around to complain about.

Many other forums, both automotive and non-automotive related have their BBS code to automatically detect such a predetermined list as deemed (in)appropriate by the site administrator to keep it PG rated. Some others let you speak your mind fully without the censorship.

If there were an off-topic section to start my thread I would have used it. Some forums have such sections where politics and religion are discussed by those not faint of heart but I didn't know ours has such a section. Bofhi, please point me in the right direction and I'll ask the mods to move it there where it belongs since it doesn't have to do with R8s, only with the R8 forum setup itself, and I can't locate the "correct place" you refer to. Watch this one with speakers on and no kids around as it is a scene from Goodfellas and 4-letter words are used. Not PG-rated and might not last long before being deleted. It was the best scene in the movie, IMO. I didn't intend this thread to be funny but you somehow find humor in it so far be it from me to be your buzzkill.
