At least he uses the car! This second crash looks like it could be terminal from some of the pics. The rear is worst and he had a night in hospital as a result too!

I would happily find the money and buy it smashed up and rebuild it then display it in my lounge

I greatly appreciate the fact that he does indeed drive his great car, like he stole it. I hate garage queens. But seeing the McLaren F1 crashed like that, hurts dearly. Certainly one of the greatest cars of all time.

He enjoys his cars and his wealth and his fame. I've worked with him and also been at a couple of parties where he has taken people for a safe ride in his Mc Claren. A great guy - if he came off the road, then I would be surprised if it was driver error.
Hope he's ok.

Not a chance.
Sure, if it was just a normal production supercar. But this is a McLaren F1!! Only 100 were made, and the car is legendary in every respect. This is a multi-million $ car that will see HUGE value appreciation in future years.

One could spend $1million in repairing the damage, and still find it to be an unbelievable bargain. This car has a VERY unique place in auto history.

In 1994, the British car magazine Autocar stated in a road test regarding the F1, "The McLaren F1 is the finest driving machine yet built for the public road." and that "The F1 will be remembered as one of the great events in the history of the car, and it may possibly be the fastest production road car the world will ever see."
