I like it too until you open the engine cover and see a big part of it hanging out over the rear axel and going into the bumper. How about getting rid of the 2 seats that are only big enough for rhesus monkeys and moving the engine forward? Then the handling would really be spectacular.
Oh wait, that's what we have in the R8. Fuhgetabout it.

I did read that in the new "911" the engine has been moved forward...2" IIRC the amount...relative to the rear axle center....why don't they just flip it over like they did in the old 550 Spyder?

I love my R8, and I chose it over the new 911, but the Porsche has been arguably the quintessential sports car for all these years for many good reasons. I'm sure the new one will be no exception.
