Bare naked R8

NO wax or sealer, just clay-barred. Next will be two coats of jetSEAL 109. Then I guess I (might) apply Petes' '53 BlackPearl Crystal Polymer White Carnauba Paste Wax Limited Edition. Maybe the jetSEAL will do the trick (supposed to be the WET look) without the additional wax?

Have not found a sealer that has a "wet" look yet. Its really hard to get that without carnuba.

Which brand clay bar did you use if I may ask? From the distance the pictures were taken at, the car looks fantastic!

It has been a year since Mike from PROMOBILEAUTODETAIL did a paint correction service on my R8. I figured it was time to do something to the finish again. All done by hand. It wasn't hard to get my finish looking good again. This summer I'll try using a machine with a foam pad to rid the car of any swirl marks. I still have some swirl marks but they are very hard to see with the naked eye. 'Da Kit The sealer is not as wet look as the just claybarred, or waxed surface. After wax door shot She should be faster through the air now!!

Would you use JetSeal 109 again?

Hard question to answer...Its' only been a short while since applying. Haven't even washed her since. When my jet dryer arrives in mail I'll wash and know more. Visit a detail supplier and be prepared to be blown away by their many products. Chemguys say my Jet Seal 109 and Pete's wax is a very popular combo with their customers. I am going to try their soap next. I think I'm getting close to being able to maintain a BLACK car someday...Back to the jet seal...It's supposed to protect against contaminants. It seems to work on all surfaces...My plastic even feels smoother. I did NOT CLAYBAR the plastic.

I think that comes with all synthetic, polymeric-based products. Charged particles.
