    Which Wax/Detailing Kit?

There are so many waxes and so many diffrent claims. Any experience with the following companies and waxes:

    1) Sonax - Carnuba $60
    2) Zymol - Titanium $80
    3) Wolfgang - Carnum &175

These 3 companies claim to have the best product BUT WHICH IS BETTER???

Most high end waxes are pretty close in their performance.

Its all in the preparation prior to application...that's what makes the biggest difference.

IMHO it's all overpriced. You pay a lot for the word "premium". Take the cheapest and I'm sure you'll be happy

Poor Boys - Natty Blue Carnuba. Making sure your paint is prepared makes the difference. Clay & Polish first.

Give a shout to phil@detailersdomain.com and tell him your needs. He is a master at getting you exactly what you need and has everything on hand to get a kit made up for your needs. Tell him I sent you and he should slide you a discount hopefully. Really attentive and nice crew there.

Wash car with Dawn dishwashing soap to remove all wax. Next, claybar entire car, including glass, headlights and taillights. Wash car again with Dawn to remove any clay residue. Dry car including all crevices.(If you dont have electric blower, park car on wet pavement and use leaf blower). Here, polishing comes in, depending on condition of paint. Dual action polishers do the best job with the least chance of doing any damage. When the paint is in the best condition possible, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 does an incredible job of providing a high gloss finish that lasts a long time. I went to the expense of buying Wolfgang Fusion Wax and put it over the sealant but could not see any improvement over the sealant.
