Another tried to sell them on Ebay, probably never had an R8 but aquired a set free and thought I can make a buck out of this.

Then when people ask questions of the newbie, he pipes up with an attitude.

Oh dear I do seem to have upset some of you. Not usually in my nature to be rude. But I thought the comment about the Audi factory not making luggage a bit picky and with my sensitive nature I feel slighted. I think everyone who read it would have understood what I was trying to say. As for the "hasn't owned one"? Maybe the people who have been on the site long enough will remember my FIRST R8 that I bought had been one of the first orders placed in the UK. (No 2) I am not a speculator just a lover of great cars. I have had 2 since then. Just to finish off, there is a set of luggage for sale which looks great, fits beautifully and is open to sensible offers. Anyone who is interested I am not an unreasonable person make me a sensible offer. Lets move on.

In all honesty, chances of a sale are slim when a 'newbie' comes along and tries to sell something like this given your limited post count.

I think you will have more luck on eBay to be honest OP plus, the bags are not much more than your £500 brand new from Bespoke Luggage anyway.

A little more effort in your original post including pictures and more detail might have gotten you a sale by now....

Sadly for you, I think the recent Bespoke Luggage groupbuy pulled everyone out of the woodwork who wanted the bags so potential customers are slim on the ground now.

Thanks to everybody for their helpful comments. The luggage IS the type shown in the pictures. Not been on the site for a wee while so did not know about the "group purchase". Been driving the new Panamera for a bit, but Audi loaned me an R8 for a visit to Porsche UK's Silverstone Experience. What a laugh! The R8 attracted way too much attention for the Porsche guys liking!
I am not in a rush to sell the luggage - just I am moving house and was having a loft clearout. I found my original R8 book presented to the first buyers. No 4 for some reason.

I do not know if you have tried the R8 with the upgraded software. My first car was the "mule" for the software development. Revo Technik came over from Germany. It gave it phenomenal torque - more important then the headline bhp figure. they do a try it and see for a week foc totally adictive.I think Prosport in Stockport still do it, setting it up on their rolling road. enjoy!
