Possibly parting out of R8

My insurance just called and are working on getting my buy out price.

I'm curious as to what some parts may bring (in US$) on the open market.

Engine?
Engine and Tranny?
Tranny?
Brakes - calipers and rotors (have a brand new front set of rotors)
Seats?
Full interior?
suspension parts?
electronics?

I'm trying to get an idea what things are worth so I can compare that to the buy out price and see if it would be worth my time to part the poor car out or just let the insurance company take it off to the Land of Dead R8s.

Most R8s are still under warranty...so, your parts won't be quite as valuable 'till a little later on. JMO

Kfab,I agree trees can be bad. but walls can be just as hard. Let's all keep the shiney side up and the sticky side down. And to do a tumble in gravel areas does a fine amount of damage too.There is no real safe place to get to the edge.

The car is being picked up by insurance on Monday. They are supposedly putting it up for auction and they are supposed to get me the link to the auction. When (if?) I get more info, I'll post it here.

Even though it's not been drivable, it's still been here in my possession. Now, not so much. I have about a week before I get the new one.

I fly out to OEM next Tuesday, do a day's worth of work and drive on home to Hell, er, Ohio. Why can't I just stay out west? (rhetorical question) I hate Ohio.
