FS: 2008 Imola Yellow 4.2L 6-Speed

Was sniffing around on Auto Trader looking for car for a customer and stumbled on this one. It's unbelievable and I had to share:
- 1,850 miles
- Imola Yellow w/Black Fine Nappa Leather
- 6-speed manual

That is Imola. Suncoast had this Porsche Speed Yellow 2009 available a couple months ago. I'm pretty sure it sold.

I very much prefer the Porsche Speed Yellow over the Audi Imola Yellow
my dealer is getting an Imola V8 in a couple of months.

I communicated with Don via email a few times about this car. I really, really wanted to buy it and was ready to wire the funds but he was unwilling to take my 2007 S4 cab in trade (even with all the back and forth shipping from Carmel to MA!). So... I bought the silver one that was on Niello's showroom floor a week ago. They happily took my wife's pampered (8,000) mile '07 S4 on trade against it. Imola is a great color, had it on my '05 S4, although it might be the kiss of death on an R8 when it comes to resale time...

Kiss of death, you may be right, however i am really tempted to spec my 2011R8 GT in Samoa Orange, even though there will be only 33 in the UK, will it suffer in value when i move it on 6 months later or will the exclusivity counter act the colour choice? always wanted an orange R8, am i brave enough

Go for it Colin, I would totally go with the Samoa if I had a chance to order one of these.

The GT in that color is a whole different deal! My 1st choice on a GT for certain. Like a Gallardo Superleggera, the R8 GT can more than carry the color.

I guess my intuition was right about not buying this car. The dealer obviously wholesaled it to a sports car dealer in MO - it's on ebay. I knew it would be a tough sell!
