My fellow R8 enthusiats, it is with a reluctant and heavy heart that I am considering selling my '11 R8 V10 Spyder. The car is practically still new and without a single blemish. I ordered in Suzuka Gray (special paint option), which IMHO is Audi's most gorgeous color. It's simply stunning. She's a manual and the mileage is just over $1 miles. The interior is light gray leather seats with black dash/carpets. It has just about every option, including the full carbon interior package.
Why am I considering selling such an awesome car, you might ask? Simply put, I ordered a Ferrari 458 that arrived 3 months ahead of schedule, having just taken delivery last week. It's not a bad problem to have, but it does leave me with a difficult choice. As much as I'd love to have 2 of arguably the best sports cars on the road in my stable, my fiancee (I'm getting married in 2 months) is suggesting a 4 door performance-oriented sedan would be the more practical choice.
With that said, if you are interested in and would like to purchase my beloved R8, let's talk. Total cost out the door new was ~$183K, but I'm willing to make a realistic, mutually equitable deal. I'd like to get $164K for the car, which would save you $19K over new. Considering I've had it for under 6 months and have barely put over 1K miles on the odometer, I feel like this is a fair asking price. Throw in the rarity of Suzuka Gray (60-90 extra days to produce plus an additional cost) , and you've got a guaranteed head turner. I'd also be willing to consider possible trades for a 2010-2011 Audi S6 or Mercedes E63. If you have any questions, please feel free to ping me. The car is located in sunny Tampa, Florida. Thank you!
