My Audi dealer has 1 new Daytona Gray V10 Coupe 1 used Sepang Blue V10 Coupe and 1 new Ibis White V10 Spyder in stock right now and they have a Daytona Gray GT coming next week. North Scottsdale Audi sells their cars to brokers, and then the brokers jack up the price anywhere from 20K to 50K and sell them on the showroom floor. I wouldn't buy from thief's like that. A good Audi dealer will sell all Audi's at MSRP and not jacked up like North Scottsdale Audi.

Not that it's that hard to find R8's for sale right now anyway, autotrader lists 380 for sale right now. And the '12s should start showing up next month...

My local dealer has had a white spyder and a black spyder for months. It seems like a year ago, they had the R8's for only a couple of days before they were sold. I'm thinking it's the continued bad economy because people still love the cars.

What is the out-the-door dealer pricing at this point with the Spyder in the U.S.? Any of you have recent percentage-off information with regard to any discount off of list?

The R8 seems to be stacking up with leftover MY 11's and the new 12's on the way. I would think that most of these have been floored for more than 90 days, which means that the dealer is now paying out of pocket.

I'm curious about your comments regarding North Scottsdale Audi. I live in Scottsdale and spoke to a saleman Brian re: purchasing a used R8 V8 for around $100,000. He told me that I would be lucky to get a used car for under $100,000. Makes you wonder.

It always amazes me how dealers can charge their own customers over MSRP- especially clients that have presumably purchased an R8 before their GT purchase..
