WTB: Used or New Supercharger Kit (not so expensive) for the R8 V8

    Hello Guys,

i`m Sven from germany - i want to make my R8 that i will buy the next
    month a little bit faster.

My habit is that i search tuning parts before i have the car

So if anybody now who have what i want please give me a
    short answer.

The prices for 30.000$ an more i think is to much...

    Best Regards
    Sven

    Hi TurboSven,

I have a brand new unopened Heffner Twin Turbo Audi R8 Turbo Kit available. It was for my R8 V8, but I never had it installed...

I can sell to you for $25,000...obo

Let me know if you are interested in making your new R8 smoke R8 V10's...!

    Sven,

I did also PM you when you first posted, but did not hear back. If you don't opt for the turbocharger setup (which should be fun) I do still have a supercharger setup for you.

    Cheers,
    Alexander van Gerbig

Did you sell the car before the TT arrived ? You missed an incredible experience, IMHO ...

Buy the twin turbo kit Sven. Never mind the little supercharger they are a way overpriced for what they are. If it was for a v10 to fit my r8 I would buy it fast.

The STaSIS Supercharger is available with or without warranty. Why the STaSIS Supercharger?

    Design Advantages
    • We design our systems based on boost, not overall HP figures. Designed to produce 6-7 psi of boost to keep engine reliable with added performance in mind, much like OEM manufactures approach their engine product development.
    • The STaSIS system does not exceed the fuel pump or injectors beyond their OEM operational tolerances, an OEM like design approach so the vehicle can be driven as a daily driver unlike other aftermarket performance systems on the market.
    • The STaSIS system uses a charge cooling system through a radiator with a separate cooling fluid which provides a consistent operating air temperature. This application keeps exhaust gas temperatures low and in turn provides no adverse effects on oil or coolant temperatures.
    • The Stock R8 V10 has the capability and handling of 700HP, underpowered with 525HP, the V8 at 540hp. Customers often feel it would be a perfect car with more power. The supercharger adds that extra 35-40% power that brings the cars performance up to match the handling of the car.
    • Stock engines are not originally designed for after-market forced induction modifications. Very little room for error especially when dealing with over boost (big problem with turbos). STaSIS S/C’s cannot over boost, making them more reliable and drivable.
    • Aesthetically pleasing, fit and finish is very polished. Designed in concert with brakes, exhaust, suspension and tires/wheels. Complete path to a super powered, warranted, daily driver.
    • Installation available in any STaSIS certified facility, bolt on system can also be easily removed and he vehicle returned to stock.
    • The STaSIS S/C provides power on tap, its there when you want it.
    • A Properly engineered supercharger system requires a proper price.
    • The STaSIS S/C in combination with the STaSIS exhaust makes the car “sound” faster, the aura it produces.
    • V8= TVS 1900cc, V10= TVS 2300cc, there are smaller options that cost less but our precise engineering identified these as the proper choice
    • • The STaSIS S/C is virtually maintenance free

Re: WTB: Used or New Supercharger Kit (not so expensive) for the R8 V8

Ok so what your saying is the 2.3 kit will make 700+at the feet on pump gas? With all due respect sir 40k for a tvs 2.3 kit with some hoses & a heat exchanger was very hard for me to Understand when i bought my v10 i was very disapointed when I learned how much a sc kit was. Hell I just put a 4.2 liquid cooled kenne bell full polished kit on one of my gt500s for less then 7k making 840 at the wheels on e85 fuel mind you. I understand you have to make a profit but how can they do it for a far & away superior supercharger kit & only charge that much & still make a profit. You guys should really pay attention to what just happened with k&n making filters that cost less then a 1/4 of the other ones that are on the market before someone steps in & makes a superior sc kit with a down to earth price that won't be ridiculously priced just because its for a r8.

Hello Guys, sorry my english is not the best. I try to understand all...
Thanks for the offer and the answers.

I have a problem with the turbo kit i think the engine is more heavily used
    then a supercharger kit.

But i think also then johns v10 - the prices a very crazy. When i look what
are the prices for the same Kit when you drive a RS4 B7 then i don`t understand
    the difference between the prices.

Actually Sven you have it backwards the turbo system is far more efficient because it uses spent exhaust gases as fuel. The supercharger although a twin screw design is more efficient then the standard roots uses crank horsepower to turn it which puts more strain on the engine not to mention higher inlet air temps.
