WTB: Aftermarket V8 R8 Exhaust

So I'm slowly coming to the realization that the stock R8 exhaust is just too quiet. I know a lot of members have aftermarket exhausts on their R8 and I am interested in a used aftermarket exhaust (preferably Tubi or Stasis) that I can install on mine.

Figured I would check here first as a lot of guys are upgrading to V10's soon and can't take their exhausts with them. Please let me know if you have any leads. Thank you in advance!

My first drive in an R8 was my dealer's personal car (the V8 model) which had the STaSIS exhaust on it. I placed my order with the aftermarket exhaust to be installed before I was to take delivery. It was that impressive. I did change my order to the V10 and initially did not have one installed on it (partly due to the fact that the V10 was too new and the tuners had not had time to develop upgrades), but soon realized my life really wouldn’t be complete without one.

MSM also posted on looking for a used exhaust for the V10. You may get lucky and find one for your V8.

Yeah, I am definitely going to get one. I'm leaning towards the Tubi exhaust. I am also looking at some wheels for the R8 too. Oh boy, I feel an expensive bill coming soon. Lol.

If you want the loudest, most obnoxious, neighbor hating exhaust - I would recommend the Kreissieg. Variable tune so you can turn it off. When I first got it I thought it was way to loud - now I think it is not loud enough.

I must agree...I am waay happier with my R8s' improved sound, even if only the Miltek and filter kit !!!!!!!!!!!! (for now)

Anybody have any experience with Quicksilver exhaust? I have heard it on an R8 and love the sound.

Danko has the quicksilver exhaust and it's louder than a space shuttle launch, its making me want one too now!
