Is there any difference between the V8 and the V10 knob?

I have a V8 knob available. Can supply with the six speed shift pattern or the R8 badge (found in R-tronic)

The shift knob is identical, the emblem on top is different V8 to V10 for 6 speed and R-Tronic.

V10 has red ring on top to match instrument cluster. I wouldn't mind a V10 cap only for the red ring. Would match the other red bits I've thrown in the mix.

No, sorry if I confused you. I doubt anyone will have a V10 cap with the red ring they are willing to sell. I only suggest this one because it has the red motorsports accent stripe PLUS the benefit of the added carbon fiber. MAcarbon sells this one for $135, but maybe we can get it for a bit less on a group buy??

I believe MAcarbon sells the insert for both the V8 and the V10.

I would be in for the group buy!
