I was looking at this earlier on Autotrader. I was a little sceptical with the fact that it is modded (albeit with OEM equipment) but since you vouch for its quality...think I'll give him a shout. Thanks
It's a genuine car and the owner is a genuine enthusiast
I actually sold him the GT lights, milltek and oval tips a few months ago and imo really turn the car into something special. With the Audi warranty you have peace of mind which no other car at that price point can offer.
Also imo Daytona Grey is the best R8 colour, better than ibis
I genuinely cannot believe this car hasn't sold and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I was looking
Thanks dk.
Looks like I'll be P/x it.It would have been nice to sell it privately so someone could have had a genuine car at a realistic price. I'm getting a very good deal on my new car so from my point of view I'm not too bothered. In hindsight I should have put it back to standard, modded cars in this price bracket have limited appeal no matter how much better I think it looks and sounds. The dealer hasnt decided if he's trading or retailing the car, or whether he wants it standard or with all the bits on.If he wants it back to standard then the lights are yours my friend.(for what ever I paid you for them of course)
Such a waste....
What's the new car?
Is it not worth demodding it anyway? You'll clear £1k on your bits...
Cheers Martin and aka_dk. The search continues...
It's going to cost £4/500 to get everything swapped over, I'll probably get a few hundred quid for the original bits so its not really worth it tbh.New cars a 2010 Maserati Gran Turismo S, the R8 was being used once or twice a week at best, so thought a 4 seater would be a better idea.My practical head wont stay on for long though and I'll probably end up with a V10.
Great choice!!
Love the Masser
Was behind on the other night and wow what a sound!
