That's what I'm hoping... Incidentally, I love the spec of your Suzuka R8. If I could make a deal happen on any car, it would be for the Suzuka R8 that's for sale in Ohio. Sadly, the dealer just got the car in and isn't willing to budge on price...yet.

The particular car is at Marshall Goldman. I really feel like my best chance is to find a private seller.

It looks pretty good, seems to have what you are looking for......last year, I followed several R8's for months, around the 4th they started to move, prices ameliorated somewhat, sellers probably felt they had to move them......I ultimately came back to the one I first wanted, from a private seller .......

Yeah, it really seems like a finding a private seller is the way to go. Unfortunately, if you do a search today on Autotrader for all '08-09 R8s for sale, you get 89 hits; if you restrict the search to private sellers only, that drops the results to 4 hits. It's not looking good. I'm still hoping to catch someone trading up to a V10 or spyder.

On a side note, I also sent you PM regarding pricing advice...

Yeah, it's even worse than my first post indicates...I've actually been looking since March of last year after selling my 996TT. I've made offers on a variety of R8s over the course of the year, but just haven't been able to get the right deal on the right car. The only positive is that I've been able to drive my Gallardo more...

I can see the appeal of the Audi or Lamborghini ... What brought you to purchase the Subaru ?
