Wanted - R8 Owner in South Hampshire (UK)

Hello All,

I am looking for an R8 owner who would be willing to take my fiance for a quick 15/20min spin in their car. My fiance is 30 in July and the R8 is his favourite car.

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to find a kind DB9 driver to take my brother for a spin, so I am hoping to have the same luck this time!

Looking to arrange something on the afternoon of the 31 July (Sunday). Willing to pay up to £80 cash for him to be picked up at the house (Titchfield), taken for a short drive and returned afterwards.

I know some R8 earners do these sorts of things so if anyone can help or recommend someone it would be most appreciated!!

If you really want it why don't you go to an Exotic car rental agency and rent one? I think the going rate is ~$2500 per day plus insurance. Desperation has a price.

Have your fiancee ask for a test drive at the Audi dealer. And then fiancee could say: "drop me off here, PLEASE, thanks. I decided to get married, I'll swing by to purchase REAL soon!!" Saves you some honeymoon money too. Congratulations and have a lovely marriage,(both of you).

Unfortunately not only are the ones here booked throughout July/August, you need to lay down a £3000 deposit on top of the £600+ for hiring it.

As mentioned, I have before secured a quick ride with a local guy who had a DB9, and he only wanted a small token for it as it was more something he did to make someone's day than something for money. I am really hoping that i'll find someone like that with an R8!

I would just love the R8 to pull up at the house whilst all the friends and family are there, it would just be amazing!!
