The weave matches my CF sideblades perfectly. I can't believe what a difference the mirrors make---driving down the road on a sunny day, they look very sweet from the inside. I may get the Carbon Fiber steering wheel next.

We're happy to be a sponsor here on R8talk. We plan to be contributing members on the forum like we are on a number of other boards you may be familiar with.

A small introduction. MAcarbon manufactures carbon fiber parts for exotic cars. We specialize in interior parts although we do some external parts. We started with Ferrari but cover most modern Lamborghinis and Porsches. In those markets we have some of the most complete CF solutions available.

We are in the process of getting our R8 program rolling. We plan on an entire interior program that will allow you go from just one piece all the way to an entire interior. The R8 interior is actually complex from a CF standpoint due to the way the factory configured their CF. But you can be assured, our parts will blend with the factory offerings if you have that already. If you do not, we will give you options to get there and beyond.

Here is a picture of an R8 wheel that we just did for a customer in alcantara with a 12 p'clock racing stripe in white. This wheel turned out sweet and I can't wait to see it installed in the car.

The other wheel a Gallardo wheel that we just did as well as every other carbon bit in his car. Enjoy the pics!

i much prefer the Gallardo wheel---as I told John, the alacantara doesn't wear well. I LOVE the Lambo wheel. If you did the leather, custom stitching, and continued the carbon fiber on the flat bottom the R8 wheel would be CLUTCH.

Well, that's the beauty of MAcarbon's wheel program: you can have it however you want it. This R8 customer specified Alcantara with carbon top and center. We could have stayed with leather.

We will be offering the wheel center by itself for customer's who do not want any changes to the rim.
