looks sweet
Looks great. When they built my car, they only had the CF Blades. At least that's the dealers story. I ordered my car with all the CF options. Some day I'll finish off the look of my car. (unless a V-10 sneaks in my garage.)

How does the Macarbon items look compared to the original carbon? Is their pattern and finish about the same? I'm pretty sure I saw that carbon mirrors were shown as an option on the 2010s. I am considering mirrors and the vent/MMI surround piece in carbon and wondering how it will look next to the original carbon.
They look good, very good in fact, I ordered a set from APS a few months ago and still haven’t got round to fitting them, or getting them fitted. The local Audi dealer is not an R8 approved dealer & refused to help, APS never sent fitting instructions (even though I paid over 700quid for them & asked many times) and it’s a pain to travel to get them done. I was advised that the door interior has to be removed etc etc etc... is it really that difficult? Or will they remain on the coffee table as interesting carbon fibre topics of discussion?

try the Bentley manual (CD) which has excellent step by step instructions OR you can sell them to me :-) to go with my R8 rear wheel coffee table I persuaded my wife was a good idea!

Hey,
To install the mirror covers, you have to remove the actual mirror from the side mirror, then pull the side mirror cover upwards then it pop's of the stem, then there's 2 screws there to remove that if you wanted to replace/ get that sprayed. installation in reverse.
If you interested in selling them, please let me know!
Thanks
Dan
