    MAcarbon Steering Wheel Thread

    Hi All,

I decided to make a thread dedicated to MAcarbon steering wheels. Hope everyone enjoys this thread and it gives you ideas of what you do and don't like.

Here is a picture of the wheel above installed. This wheel was done in Alcantara with a carbon top and bottom, and the center section was left in the original silver.

    Enjoy the pics!

I'm noticing that the top part of all of your wheels are @ 25% thinner than my PPI wheel. Isthis just a matter of personal preference? I have gotton used to the fatter Carbon top section. It does feel good . (no gloves on) Maybe your wheels are meant to be used with racing gloves on??

None of our wheels are thicker than stock. It's all personal preference, but I really don't like the super thick wheels.

    Re: MAcarbon Steering Wheel Thread

We just did this Lamorghini Gallardo wheel for a customer's new Balboni LP 550-2.

We did this wheel in black leather with a carbon bottom, middle and top. The 12 o'clock racing stripe is done in white with a thinner gold stripe to replicate the stripes on the Balboni.
