V10 LED DRL Retrofit

I see on your website that you offer a Q7 LED DRL retrofit kit and wondered if in your experience it would be feasible to offer a V10 R8 LED DRL retrofit kit please for fitment to the V8?

I know the main headlight LEDs can be purchased separately but I can't seem to find exactly what type the LED's are which make up the V10 strip. I gather Audi only sell complete light units and not the LED strip on its own?

Sorry, didn't see your post. The way to get the V10 LED is to buy the complete lamps. We have a retrofit package that is available in RHD if you are interested!

I have R8 05/2009 (new version)
I have retrofit 2 headlight Full Led (2hands) factory 02/2010 and have to order all ballast (8).
I making the modification " front LED" via vagcom.
But still have a code error DRL for the right headlight and nothing DRL working (R&L) !
Blink ok, high-beam ok and principal ok ! only DRL problem !

I tested the DRL ballast "version C to 2009 " and "version F 2010" (see ETK)
but still error code !
Has my opinion it is defective.

Confirm me ?

I think you are the first to try this so there probably are not any A-Z instructions for this.

Kufatec offer the LED upgrade, you may wish to contact them and ask how they should be installed but I bet they will charge a fee for helping, the information will not be free.

Notice it mentions Until chassis number XXXXXXF429N001082 item 37930 is also required. Maybe you do not already have this?

Hi guys, not sure if u just want the v8's leds to act as DRL's or u actually want the complete strip LEDs of the v10. If it is just getting the v8 leds to act as DRLs then go to audi and tell them to recode the car for u to have the front LED's turn on as DRL's. Mine are DRLs now and no problems with fog light, indicator or rear tail lights. Audi were more than happy to do it as it is a 5 minute job for them.
