They take 2-3 weeks from the time of order. We just finished a set for a gentleman in Cyprus and it was a little longer because of the holidays.

The stripping process takes a few days and the paint process can take up to a week. We add extra time in the event that we find a blemish or defect and have to rework them.

Do they come with the 3M sticky tape on the back to make adhesion easier? Or does the customer have to find a way to do this themselves?

No, but really, have an R8 en route as we speak! Same looking configuration as yours. I think these black badges will compliment it. I was looking at the HRE P40's, but I quite like your HRE M40's as well. What color finish are they?

Thanks.... mine are a flat black. Can't go wrong with either, but there are a lot more P40's out there already. What specs on your inbound R8?
I'll do the black rings too, but I'll have my body shop strip and paint them. $375 for those seems a bit outrageous to me personally....

The higher cost of this is based on new rings, properly stripped and professionally painted any color you like. Having done it several different ways, this particular process is the only way we've seen that will have a lasting OEM-level finish.

Sometimes they come with double-sided tape, and sometimes they don't. My first set came with them, but were the wrong size rings. My second set were the right size rings, but didn't come with the double-sided tape. I had to use 3M plastic-metal bond.
