ADV.1 has multiple sets of already produced raw finish wheel sets for the R8 in the ADV5.1 and ADV7.1 styles. These are specifically designed for the R8 and have proper offsets to match. These are made from 8 ton forged blanks for an extremely lightweight and strong wheel. The general lead time on these is 4 weeks for a custom order, however with these already finished wheels all you need to do is pick a finish which puts lead time down to 7-10 days.

Do you think 18x9 might be better on the front, so you could mount 265s?

Only thing I'd be worried about is the 265 possibly rubbing up front, but I bet we can work that into a package. A 9" wide is not a problem and doing an 18x11" rear would be possible as well. Do you have specific tires that you want to run?
