I sure you heard this Question million time lol .
I’m so excited for my v10 which it will arrive by end of August. I talk to my dealer and he said if they know that I used any ECU they will smile and cancel my warranty,
So how I can use your ECU and avoid this canceling!
One thing also, I order the AWE system so how is this going to work? Better? Or same!
Please advice

The ECU upgrade is essentially invisible because when they plug into the ECU, everything is still set the way it was before. The flash counters are the same, and all of their tools work the same. They don't have a tool that extracts and compares code, so you're all good there. Furthermore the ECU doesn't need to be physically modified.

As far as the exhaust, I don't foresee any issues. We've tested our software with other exhausts, including an RSC system we were developing for the V10 and it worked fine.

I'm sure a high flow intake and exhaust will give you a little more out of the R8 V8 if they are properly designed!

All you need to do is visit an APR dealer. They will plug into your OBDII port and download the software. you don't have to do anything!

If Audi has an update for your ECU, then you'll want to get it. From time to time they update and change things to the ECU to fix running issues they had. When that's finished, an APR dealer will send us your updated code (if we don't have it already) and make new software for your latest Audi update.

Chances are there are no updates for your ECU's. If you PM me your vin number, I can have one of my techs look and verify.
