Brake squeal. Anyone?

I've noticed that some very loud brake squeal developed nearly overnight. It occurs only at low speed brake (spot sign etc.)

Anyone else have this? About 6000 miles on the car with one track day. Developed overnight though.

Any recommendations to get rid of it? Do you think doing some hard braking might get the contact points a little smoother?

I'd start by having the pads and disks cleaned. The squealing could be caused by a tiny stone or something similar.

Hi,
I had the same after a track day. I was going to remove the pads and put some coppaslip behind the pads but decided to spray some wd 40 instead....It worked without affecting braking performance but the squeal eventually came back.
Then it suddenly stopped after another track day !!.

I got the squeal after a vigorous trackday. It comes and goes though

Well, the track day was over a month ago. This developed overnight with normal driving.

I don't think so, but then again, I usually brake when going straight. I just had the 5K service done and they check brakes and everything. I called them and they mentioned that they would have said something if they were in need of replacement. They said they were fine 600 miles ago.

Just did normal driving between then and now.
