Who plans on aftermarket wheels for their R8?

I have 360 forged which have carbon fiber overlay. They match the blades... I also just got my Heffner Twin Turbo completed... Here is my car and a pic from their site.

Very awesome.They look very similar in shape, to our O.G. wheel. You certainly have ONE BAD A** RIDE. Kind of a shame all that workmanship gets hidden. A sleeper is nice though. Now, I AM ON A SEARCH - for C.F. overlays for my Scorpius wheels !! Might need a velcro system for easy off - to check for cracks !!

That's a very good point there. I really like those CF wrap wheels but I wonder if they would disguise a crack ?

BTW H, did you have spacers on the wheels that cracked ?

Yes 10mm. After springkit/lowering ,am cosidering 20 mm. Nutso ??

Just thinking, if the spacers increase the load on the spokes of the wheel ?

Boy, if those turbochargers were mounted any farther back you'd need a luggage rack!
