    Brembo GT kit for R8!

Brembo now has the Gran Turismo kit for the R8! Kit is only for the front, and its very simple. It has 2 oversize rotors, used with the stock Brembo 8 piston calipers.

Im not sure about track use with stockers, but the upgraded ones would have less fade. Theyre $2195. Ive never driven an R8 so Im not sure if the car would need the upgrade, but for tracking the car, Im sure the upgrade would be worth it.

    Less fade? Doubtful, very doubtful.

The stock OEM HUGE calipers are all you will ever need - you should get improved pads specifically for track use as well as 'upgrade' the brake fluid to Motul RBF600.

This is all you will ever need.......

The stock rotors are all you will ever need. Pair them with some good track pads and you will have better braking than just about any car out there. I switched to Pagid Yellows after wearing out my stock pads after seven track days. The yellows are incredible and do not wear the rotors out quickly. After another 5 days on the track (12 total) my rotors measure R/R 31.47 MM L/R 31.63 MM New 32MM min spec 30.4. L/F 33.5MM R/F 33.66MM new 34MM front Min spec 32.4. I brake very hard and have never expereicne anything like the R8 brakes. Had to also switch fluid to motul RBF 600 to keep from boiling.

That is exactly what I've found over the years and about 2,000 sets of Yellows -

I try to sound objective - and my advice indeed is - but it truly takes 'unbiased reports' of actual use to show the absolute truth

I would, without a doubt, have Pagid Yellows for track days and switch to OEM for street use.

P.S. The video quality of your track session is SUPERB!
