Has anyone done any suspension modifications on the 5.2 V10?
I feel the car has too much dive and squat during braking and acceleration and would like crisper handling. I am looking at H&R springs.

Can only comment on the Hr springs on my V8.
They certainly did not harshly compromise ride comfort but gave improved handling and braking ability on the track.
For want of a better description they basically made the car feel so much more taut.

H&R is the best bet for the R8 at this time. We've done several sets and the V8 and V10 use the same springs. They also have coil-over packages, but they aren't for Mag-Ride cars...

What does the H&R mod cost and is it just a spring swap?
I have performed a magnetic ride delete on 2 cars adding a coilover set up .. works great no suspension faults and the car handles much better .. i highly recomend the coilover setup if its within your budget ..
I have H&R on my V10. No complaints.
V10 RSC exhaust, ADV7 20" matte black face gloss black lip, H&R springs, PPI frt. grill and PPI rear center wet carbon, Matte black wrap, black emblems.
Have you considered the STaSIS Touring Supension upgrade? This system comes with fixed height springs, bushings & a upgraded rear ARB to balance out the suspension further.

I have had the H&R springs added to my R8V8 and was very pleased with the system...
running on 20"'s was a nice looking car
with my V10 I went a different route...
KW variant 3 ... they have a plug and play kit for the Mag Ride system, so no failures no nothing and a perfect adjustable ride...in height and damping![]()

Once you have the springs, how much to swap them out and who does it and is it an all day thing. Also how much does it lower the car? Do you need additional parts? Do you have to get a 4 wheel alignment?
