I was *this* close to ordering the exact same set of wheels, and entirely because of that photo of your car. Alas, I opted to spend even more money on a set of ADVs. LOL

I'm glad a few others have chimed in on this thread to offer a variety of opinions. Wouldn't want young James there to think that R8 owners aren't original in thought.

I would have given you the wheels. They sat in my garage for the longest time. I wanted someone to enjoy them.

Sorry to hear you're selling your car, although I'm sure you'll be getting some other great car to replace the R8.

All this talk about HREs and ADVs got me so anxious I demanded some evidence of how far my wheels have gotten in the production process. Fortunately, they provided me with some pics...

Those track specs are neat. Can't wait to see the finished wheels and the car. My buddy (Marcus Byrd) just bought SAF wheel co. and keeps bugging to make me some wheels. He should have hit me up last year when I REALLY NEEDED a track set.

when you put the 20" x 12" on the rears and you lowered the car, did you ever experience any rubbing?

did you lower cars? springs or coil overs? did the tires ever rub?

No rubbing on mine. Not one bit. It's lowered on H&R springs.
