    Suspension Alignment for Track

There was quite a bit of fine detail work directing airflow under the V10 body that you don't see on the V8.

So without asking a silly question is the front splitter more suited for the V8 than a V10

Aesthetically its fair to say its compelling.
    Gazza,
Can you share the post-alignment settings you chose for the track?

    Hi Bish..

This is what I settled on with the adjustments available.

    Front

    Camber LEFT - 1.8 / Right -1.6 (both maxed)

    Toe - 0

    Caster - left/right + 7.2

    Rear

    Camber - Left - 1.2 / Right - 1.1

    Toe in - -0.5

Car felt much better on my little twisty mountain road on the way home.

Your numbers are very similar to what, after some experiment, I ended up with on my V8:
    Front
    Camber approx -1.4 (both maxed)
    Toe +0.3 (stock)
    Caster ?? (stock)

    Rear
    Camber -1.15
    Toe- +0.3 (stock)

I still need more negative camber in front, very nice that you can get -1.6 or more. I'd like to add shims so as to get maybe -1.8 or -2.0.

I tried more negative camber (-1.5) in the rear, but got wheel spin out of the corners and corded the insides. Guessed at the -1.15 and rear tire wear seems very even now.

Car felt better the faster I went..

I was unsure about zero toe at the front but I had strong straight line stability.

Running the same Cup tyres as my previous R8..I had less roll under(ploughing) at the front as has been the case previously.

All in all a good set up

In a friend's P997 he over did the negative camber. His front driveshaft diff. broke. It would be nice if we had the numbers from a track setup factory team R8.

With your MPSC tyres are you running the 305s in the rear and 245 in the front?

    Track cold/hot psi?

    What brake pads?
