To open the engine lid there is a pull lever just inside the drivers door, it can only be operated with the drivers door open.

when you say alot of water in the engine bay do you mean on and all over the engine or just down the sides?

Check your pm's im about to send you one

The engine bay is fairly exposed through the air vents but particularly just above the window. But any water should just drop straight through the engine bay, but the bulkhead window does get a little water stained & mucky.

When washing, especially with a a pressure hose make sure you point to rear of car and not the front as you will only ram a ton of water through the side air vents by the glass and through the gap at the top of the window. Don't laugh, easily done when you clean your pride and joy for the first time !!!

    Hahaha N00B

Water is getting in the enginebay, thats normal. You'll have to clean it alot

The bay is not sealed, so rain gets through all openings.
