How many R8`s on the road in the UK ?

Does anyone know how many R8`s are on the rd in the uk right now ?
How many are member on hear ?

Given that my dealer has sent out about 4 I would suspect that anywhere between 30 and 75 in the UK at the moment

I have seen posts from about 3/4 in the UK on this forum.

You are the only one who has had major issues - who was the person you bought it off?

The first 1000 miles of any car are the most important and it sounds they were spent maxing it out.

Looking from afar (the northwest of the states)..... I was shocked lasst night to see how many R8's were already advertised for sale in the UK, with nearly 18 on pistonheads alone! A few possibly from owners looking to cash out, most from "dealers", looking to 'really' make out, from £5-15000 over MSRP. Now wondering if we'll see the same activity here in the US, or whether our relatively few cars (<200>) will preclude such 'flipping'.

Tho I would say we yanks probably invented the idea flipping........

Guess I'll have to rethink my idea of flipping my September car for >$50k big ones.....!!

James, don't do it.

Since I have had my R8 for a few weeks now, it is definitely worth the wait and is very much one of the best cars you can drive on an everyday basis.

I was offered £20k over ($40k) over list - not worth it for the pure exhilaration and fun I have had and will have for the months to follow. Life is not all about money as I keep saying to myself, if you can afford an R8 in the first place you can afford to turn the premium down as well.
