    Well its easy:

    - Go to your local hardware store
    - Swing GBP 500,- on the counter
    - Take that PC home with you
    - Use Easy Thumb (Freeware) or Paint to resize

To be honest, for a MAC I don't know. I tried to search for you on the Net, but I can't find any resize software for your MAC.

Do you have Adobe Photoshop ???

If so, you can save in lower resolution

Gosh that is an even more expensive solution than Guilty's buy a PC solution!

I'll do trawl of the web. Whan I used some of the free Mac software on my machine the smallest file size was 384k - still to big.

Could you zip them and put them on a server? I can download them and resize them for you if you want?!

Thanks Guilty, but I just found a tool on the Apple website that does the job. I just need to figure out how to upload properly to allow embedded photos.

Thumbs up Re: How do I resize/downsize jpegs for posting?

: Hi there, Check out an application called Parallels. you can download it for £50. If you have a mac with Intel processors eg macbook pro or similar then you can run windows in parallels. so you then have a PC running microsoft windows on your mac only faster than it does on most PC's! All files can then be dragged from Mac to PC and vice versa. its like having 2 computers in one. Pics can be put in the "shared folder" and resized in microsoft picture manager and flipped back over to your mac, an altogether better machine:
