355 still one of my favorites. Although I saw a super-rare 330 GTO at Lime Rock that I wouldn't mind owning.

No complaints about the R8 here, it's a ton of fun and a very capable ride. Best car I've owned to date.

I love the design of both cars, but I have to admit the R8 has one of the most unique and distinct designs out there. I have the 458 currently and had the R8 V10 last year. Both great cars but the 458 drives a little more awesome, thanks to the dual-clutch and obnoxiously loud (yet amazing) exhaust sounds. However, I am VERY interested in ordering the 2014 V10 Plus.

thats also another issue for me...why is it the audi r8 can't get the exhaust to sound like a real exotic....i thought it shared the same engine as the lambo.....but it doesn't sound like one.......does anyone have a setup on their r8 that sounds good? i must have checked out 10 diff videos of v10's with after market exhausts and it just can't compare to the sound of a ferrari, or the throatiness of the lambo

I have to agree regarding that Lambo sound.

It has been discussed here before and we still have not had the definitive answer as to why the R8 V10 cannot actually sound like a Lambo V10.

Some exhausts do come close and yes the engines are identical.

It has to be something different on either the Intake internals,exhaust manifolds or even possibly the firing order?

It has me stumped.
