I guess it can be called the 2014 model, but I understand it will be on the roads in the U.S. by March 2013? So regardless, I'll be in the market and want to get this new model, I'd think they'd release prices and details for us by now. The European refresh has already been available for several months!

No news on it yet. I guess they will release order guides in mid of January.

I asked my local dealer. He said 10% increase in base price and official pricing to come in round the 2nd week of january

The various auto mags that have been posting up reviews of the 2014 are saying 153,000 base for the V10 + $9000 for S-Tronic; and I'm sure that doesn't include GGT and Dest. So if correct (and since they're out on test drives with people from Audi I'm sure they likely are) that's about a $4000 bump over the 2012s.

i'd honestly wait 2 more years or so for the new one. i hear it is going to weigh so much less than the current one that the gen 2 V8 will be faster than the current gen V10.

I'm confused. I follow that, in the US, MY2013 is now to be called MY2014. Did the rest of the world get 2013 R8's?
