When can I celebrate?!

So I'm doing the paperwork (and waiting on bank stuff to clear) for a 2010 V10 R8, but don't have it in-hand yet.

It is all I can do not to tell everyone, but it seems low class to do so.
So can I celebrate here yet, even if it isn't in-hand?

I will be in Hong Kong for Christmas and then should have this thing by the time I'm back.
May have belonged to one of you, or look familiar (it is in FL):
2010 MT V10 R8
Phantom Black Pearl (carbon side blade)
Carbon package (don't all of the V10s have this?)
Modded intake, modded exhaust, Stasis tune, built in Escort detector/defense, black tail pipes

I think I will need to get the tinted windows pulled off to pass inspection here.

I'd definitely like to say hello sometime - my girlfriend and I stood next to your car at the museum during the Italian car festival, but didn't actually get to shake hands.

The intake is a Carbonio and the exhaust is the Fabspeed. Stasis tune was done by an Audi dealer, so supposedly retains the warranty - although I'm waiting on more paperwork around that.
I'm hearing mixed things if this is the actual car, but that's the exhaust, and the car looks exactly like that:

EDIT: forgot to mention - fewer than 4k miles on it.
It is "2010" but purchased in 2009, has had two owners - the first one put fewer than 1k on it from what I can tell in the records.

Talking to another dealer now to get a Q5 for times when I can't get the R8 out in good conscience.


I was very much debating getting the Heffner TT v8, but I kept running into cases where the install was great, but later work was done and they were not familiar with it and it wrecked the engine - didn't want to deal with that and if for some reason I get tired of this setup, I will look into TT for the v10 - doubt that will get to that point.

A friend is getting married (technically he is legally married in the US, but they are doing the ceremony out there at Christmas) and I'm in the wedding party. Lots of airport time.
I may get a tailored suit while out there from the same place doing our tuxes, other than that - not sure how much shopping I'll be doing.
From what I hear, most of the money I'm spending will be on alcohol.

I'm staying in the Hotel Panorama ( http://www.hotelpanorama.com.hk ) - don't know much about the place, but excited to get a few days with friends at least.
Although if something in my company goes a certain way, I may be out there more for business.

After doing some looking into it - the car appears to be the same one that CharlieVi on the site here had.

He hasn't posted since October (when it was last sold), but I sent him a message anyway - no luck.

Anyone happen to know him offline? Just would be curious to hear his feelings on the car and what he moved on to - as many on here have noted, can never hurt to know the previous owners/history better.

Oh, that's good to know - may be worth going to the same place even - where did you use? (or PM me if you don't want it here)

While I'm not sure how many of them are on this forum, the R8s I'm aware of in the immediate area are:
Gray R8 Spyder (v10, I think) seen frequently outside of Sel de la Terre / Mandarin
Silver or light blue over in the Kendall area parking garages
Black v10 coupe that occasionally is in front of The Liberty Hotel, KRAKEN license plate

And then RS4Cab's red V10.
