'00 (initial year) honda s2000
'05 bmw 330 cic
'08 (initial year) audi r-8 (deposit 11/06)
and several beater cars!!
well, our russian friend will need a new car.
Hitting the sidewalk with the front wheels like this, I only can imagine how the body looks like.
I will not comment the skill of our russian friend, only the even if the R8 is i 4 wheel driven car, it is not a QUATTRO and 85 % rear wheel drive as well as the driver wasn't aware of the a 4 wheel driven car needs the same way to stop as a front or rear wheel driven car.
greetings from Lugano
MIKE
Hmm that is one nasty damage. All the wheels are in pretty bad shape. As Mike said he will need a new car! I'm afraid nothing is straight on that car anymore![]()

i think he is a lumberjack as he's managed to take a few trees down on the way. lol
Looking at the road conditions and amount of rain falling, the car could have aquaplaned and gone off. I know my 997 could acquaplane at around 60mph - but that was a C2S so two wheel drive and not much weight on the front, hopefully the R8 won't do so until at a much higher speed.
I find this hard to understand, I recently travelled on the French Autoroute other side of Rouen at 170mph in very hard rain, completely steady and didn't even need wipers at that speed, with windscren Rain-X. My previous 911 would have been dangerous ! I think there may be more to the reason for this accident than meets the eye.
I would add I had the road to myself.
