My v10 spyder has more understeer than I care for and I'd like to know if there is an optimum hot tire pressure for spirited street driving that helps mitigate the understeer. Thanks.

What pressures are you currently running?
I've found that my V8 likes being at 36 all the way around and I'll add a pound or so to the rear if there's still a push (understeer).
Still running the Zeros?

2011 Samoa Orange V8 R-tronic
Running 39/36 (hot) on zeros and getting too much understeer
39 front or rear?

39 front, 36 rear
drop the front to 36 and you'll see a huge difference

Shouldn't 36 be the cold (not hot) tire pressure? For my 08 V8 the cold tire pressure spec is 39f 36r. I run 38f 37r for a bit more neutral handling.

Doug Buchanan ... '08 4.2 R-Tronic with STaSIS S/C in Jet Blue; Oxy Silver sideblades; Limestone Grey interior
Carbon credits ... via SMART four-two
Previous machines ... a variety of Porsches (E, SC, 930, 993)
Tbh, I think that going from 39 to 37 etc will only make a marginal difference.
I run 36 rear and 33 fronts on the track for hot tyre pressure

I don't know how they do it but the Gallardo actually tolerates very odd colors nicely![]()
