Tubi exhaust installation

finally got a brand new Tubi exhaust for my R8 V8 but the question is: i went to a professional workshop to install it and they ask me for 1200 USD for installation ! they told me its a complicated process and it will take a whole day ..
is that the normal range for Tubi installtion or i have been ripped??

That's pretty close to what I paid for installs on both my R8's. Is pretty involved with taking rear end off. You might be able to find some cheaper shop but do you want them taking your car apart? Both mine were done at Audi Dealership by R8 tech

My installation cost CAD$700 only, but I know the installers gave me a discount. They normally would charge $1,000.

$1200 I paid at the Audi Dealer including installing the valve switch wiring and switch through to the Cabin.

Pretty time consuming job as the whole rear comes off as mentioned.

Price seems about right..but use a Audi dealer for better piece of mind.

Also suggest you wrap it in exhaust wrap tape before installation as it reduces vibration and provides some other benefits.
