That handbrake is well high, unless it's an illusion due to no seats.

They look great but are they comfortable? Seems like they are designed for Europeans with narrow rear ends

If these are the same as the ones in the 2014 model, then yes, they are comfortable, but they are tight. I'm 6ft and 12 stone, and they are snug on my arse.

I wonder if side airbags are overrated. Check these photos out...





This accident happened here in Vancouver a couple of days ago. The car was ripped in two, and apparently the side airbag on the passenger seat didn't even activate. Passenger died on impact. Be careful out there, folks. Quattro AWD doesn't compensative for poor decision making.

That handbrake is well high, unless it's an illusion due to no seats.

They have electric bolsters that tighten on thigh or sides if/when required and electric lumbar support.... they do not have hight and positioning motors, that is manual... still fully heated though :-) they are considerably lighter!

Handbrake should be about 45deg when fully applied on an R8 I believe?
