Which V8 will Audi be using?

Does anyone know which V8 the Audi R8 will be using?

Baed on the rumors it would be the one used in RS4.

My dealer in scotland tells me today that it will be a V10 in the UK. Signed the order today

I thought they'll send out the ones with RS4 V8 and then V10 comes next.

They just put price to be confirmed on the order form. So we will have to wait and see what they offer. I am told autumn 2007 for delivery.

I have just spoken to a salesman at my dealers who was in Germany last week and saw the car. He says it is awesome It had the 4.2 RS4 engine and that is now what they expect to ship next year. The V10 is rumoured to be available in 2008. The price for the 2007 V8 will be between £75K - £79K.
