Why did Audi not offered the MY2013 R8 in North America?

I wrote that thread recently - just 30 days ago! There were then 190 new, unsold MY2012 R8 at US dealerships listed at Cars.com! Today, the figure is down to 145! So the discounts are working! At this rate, the revised '14 R8 might still arrive this summer at a US dealer near you!

Is there a national database to see what cars each dealership has? I'm currently going though autotrader and cars.com, but I know not all the available cars are on that site.

I don't think so. I have found the list at Cars.com pretty inclusive. Remember to specify 'new' cars only when you set up your Car.com search (see attached). Then double check with the total from Autotrader.com. If a dealer at this late date is not motivated enough to even list his 'new', 'unsold' & 'about to depreciate a ton-more' MY2012 R8 on either Cars.com or Autotrader.com, what kind of deal do you think he will offer you EVEN if you are able to locate him! I would not waste my time trying to find EVERY car in the US that is not sold. Concentrate on those 144 currently showing on Cars.com as 'new' and 'unsold' at US dealers! Good luck!

A couple dealers I negotiated with but didn't buy from have called in the last few days with better pricing hoping to move their leftovers. There is some extra dealer cash being offered right now.

Car made it home safely today! Too bad I won't get to see it in person until Saturday night when I get back home from Texas. Can't wait!!! Special thanks to GT-MS and the driver for getting it there safe across the country with two winter storms roaring through!
