R8 Cover

Has anyone any experience of using a cover for their R8? I see that www.carcoversuk.com have a cotton cover for the R8 at £180 delivered. I assume that it is of lesser quality than the Audi version given the price differential, but if it is just to use inside the garage, does that matter?

Still waiting to hear about delivery - told should have the car pre - Xmas. No doubt, just as the snow arrives

I'm getting my car in January and still haven't decided on a indoor car cover for my R8. Audi has a new indoor one that available now (it's Red), has anyone had any experiences with it, and does it cover the whole car including the wheels?

good question- is the dealer cover a dust cover (not waterproof), or a weather cover? is it well lined (soft inside)?

The dealer cover which is black with R8 Logo is a dust cover only.
It is not weatherproof, is very well made and has a very soft fleecy lining

I've been using a Classiccar customised indoor cover http://www.classiccarcovers.co.uk since I got the car in September. It cost £250 but I'm very pleased with it and also had one on my previous 997 and S8.
