Can anyone tell me how much the CF engine trim option costs in other countries?
Phantom Black/Silver Sideblades/Mustang Brown
I've read and reread it, but unless my eyes deceive me, Audi UK seem to have removed the cf engine cover option from the latest price/spec brochure.
In the previous brochure it was priced at £2,340.43 plus VAT = £2,750 and included the light package (which itself is worth £430).

R8 V10 r-tronic: ice silver / carbon blades / grey alcantara (2011)
Q5 3.0 tdi s-tronic
Previous: R8 V8 r-tronic: mugello blue (2008) / Bmw M6 (SMG III) / Bmw e46 M3 (SMG II) / A5 3.0tdi
I have been told by the UK R8 team that the cf engine cover is still available and there was a mistake in the latest UK brochure.
The same applies to the folding door mirror option
for once, i've got an okay deal!!! KRW6m or approx. usd6000.
No more R8...Jing jing sold after a year with only 7000km. A people mover as replacement.

Unfortunately, no. You guys have lower tax threshold. BUT I can always offer my service for a fee
Btw, I don't need a set. I've ordered mine with the car.

6000 USD is no deal. I'm pretty sure the US price is under 3000 USD.
kinda sucks that ordering CF from factory delays the delivery date![]()
if you were to just get regular blades and a set of aftermarket CF blades wouldn't it be cheaper? and you'll also have an extra set with you just in case? no...
but then again i'm guessing it's hard to find a trust worthy mechanic that'll do the install correctly...
