R8 in Kansas is Turning Heads

Hello all, this is my first post to the forum as I can now say that I am an R8 owner! I have been reading the posts, hoping and dreaming to find one available. I received my R8 yesterday morning here in Wichita Kansas and the response from people on the road and in public places is incredible. As you can imagine, there aren't a lot of R8's in Kansas yet, actually none that I know of, and so the R8 is getting a lot of looks and thumbs up from fellow drivers.
Prior to delivery I had never driven an R8, but had only appreciated it exterior beauty. But now, after driving it I have a whole new appreciation for this car. I absolutely love it!

No Good Corners Yet, the weather has been rainy so i haven't dared to push anything. I'm still getting used to the beast.

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised! It took me a while to train myself to not slow down for things with my RS4, and the R8 feels even better from the short drives I've had so far.
Just watch those slippy US roads...
